Location: Mansfield, Ohio
Services: Design of storm water management facilities with all pertinent drainage infrastructure for a 14 acre medical subdivision in Mansfield, Ohio. The design incorporated two retention ponds in series to provide storm water detention and water quality treatment for storm water runoff from the site. In addition this development received a considerable amount of runoff from an existing neighborhood upstream with no detention. The upper pond in the storm water management system was therefore designed to attenuate said offsite runoff which historically flowed through the site unchecked. The lower pond then receives discharge from the upper pond as well as the onsite storm sewer system and ultimately discharges to the Mansfield MS4 drainage area.
