Land Planning

KEM has extensive experience in land planning for residential, commercial and industrial type developments. The staff at KEM understands how to use the existing topography to enhance each development, saving the owner valuable time and money during the construction phase by having a balanced site. To ensure that we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients, KEM devotes a significant amount of time in the preliminary stages preparing conceptual layouts for review and approval. The design team then moves into detailed design and final plan development. Land is our only fixed resource and KEM approaches each site development project with this in mind.

KEM’s site engineers work closely with architects to meet the needs of the owner which includes developers, government agencies and builders. A successful land development project takes coordination with all stakeholders and expertise in site design, environmental and planning regulations, financing, and the plan approval process; all of which KEM personnel have.
