 Lexington Springmill Road Reconstruction
Location: Richland County, Ohio
Services: KEM provided construction administration and inspection services for the 1.24-mile reconstruction of Lexington Springmill Road, from Cockley Rd. to Home Rd. in Richland County. This $3,500,000 Local-Let Project included realignment of the roadway and replacement of three structures. The project schedule was condensed for substantial completion which reduced the need for an inconvenient detour from a two-year period to one.
KEM provided daily construction inspection services to ensure compliance with the plans and specifications. KEM inspectors have vast experience with ODOT specifications and contract requirements. 
Written logs of the project activity and verification of completed quantities were performed on a daily basis.
Pay requests were reviewed and approved in the field prior to submittal for payment.
KEM also conducted monthly progress meetings, coordinated utility relocation activity, and approved material submittals.
