A well designed, well maintained transportation system is essential for both public safety and to support commerce and economic development. KEM’s experience in highway design is extensive and includes a full range of traffic operations planning and design services.

KEM’s experienced staff is well versed in the design and reconstruction of state and local road systems, interstate highways, and urban expressways. KEM has completed design services under the ODOT traditional review process as well as the LPA process. KEM’s in-house Quality Assurance Program helps to ensure that we provide the most accurate plans possible. All KEM design personnel have on-site experience with construction projects through previous work as inspectors or periodic construction observation. This construction experience is reflected in our plans and in the constructibility of each and every project we design.
